Dr.
Brian Willoughby is a Board certified oculoplastic and
orbital surgeon. He received his bachelor's degree in
Economics from the University of Colorado in 1991.
He graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky
School of Medicine in 1996. Dr. Willoughby
completed his internship at Presbyterian/St. Luke's
Medical Center in Denver, and his residency in
Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado School of
Medicine.
Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, he
completed a two-year, multi-institutional Oculoplastic
Surgery fellowship sponsored by the American Society of
Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
During his fellowship, Dr. Willoughby established
expertise in eyelid, orbital and lacrimal reconstruction
as well as facial aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan
Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, the New York Eye and Ear
Infirmary, Columbia University and the NYU Medical
Center. He also completed additional training in
France studying structural fat transfer for facial
rejuvenation.
Dr. Willoughby's particular areas of interest include
periocular oncology, orbitofacial trauma and
volumetric
facial rejuvenation.
